And they call it "puppy love...." A couple of weeks ago, a dog showed up in the fenced-in area of one of LRSD's buildings. She was limping and had an issue with her ear, in addition to being very hungry and thirsty. A couple of LRSD Safety and Security staff members took her some water, and purchased food and flea and tick spray for her. Another staff member purchased dog treats. LRSD Safety and Security staff has even gone as far as coming up on the weekend to make sure that she has food and water. She is now very happy and is no longer limping. Plus, her ear has healed. She sleeps under the parked cars at the building and comes and goes as she pleases by crawling under the gate. While she has grown on several of the staff, she needs a good home before school resumes.
