Little Rock Central Football Preview 2017

The past two seasons have not been easy for the Central Tigers. Little Rock Central has won four games over the past two years and are anxious to improve on the win total. Central fans are looking to avoid the basement in the 7-A central and the potential is there, for this team to sneak up some teams and gain some upsets. The offense needs to sustain drives and the defense has got to find a way to get the opponents offense off the field.

Tigers’ fans should keep an eye wide receiver Donald Richardson on the offensive side of the ball. Richardson caught five touchdowns last season and big things are expected of him this season. Central has potential on the offensive side of the ball. Fans should look for Central to stretch the field and continue to execute on the ground. Sustaining drives will be key for the Tigers this season.

Little Rock Central is going to have to find a way to force the opposing offense off the field. Central gave up 32 points per game last season and forcing turnovers and stopping drives is going to be the plan to avoid the basement in the 7-A Central. Safety Antonio Brown is a player that Central fans will want to keep an eye on, during the season. Brown had over 90 tackles last season and he is likely to have an even stronger season in 2017.

Little Rock has talent and potential, but the offense will need to help keep the defense off the field. Sustaining drives will be key and the defense will need to force some turnovers, in order to challenge for a playoff spot.
